In partnership with master of the 5-string banjo, John Whelan, as well as one of the UK’s finest Bluegrass guitarists, Jason Titley, Kate Lissauer will be bringing to life a series of the Hollywood’s oldest black and white Western short films. Directed in the early 1900’s by pioneering director Frank Borzage these 3 master musicians accompany absorbing and poignant films with Kate’s new, specially-composed score. Evocatively bringing to life the adventures and romances of the horsemen, gamblers and hobos of a bygone era, thanks to the support of Live & Local (details here).
